1. Who we are
Phoenix World Beauty (“Phoenix”) is a booking service for women's salons and beauty clinics, run from Doha, Qatar.
You can reach us any day through our Contact page.
By creating an account or making a booking, you accept these terms. If you don't accept them, please don't use Phoenix.
2. What Phoenix does
Phoenix shows women's salons and beauty clinics in Qatar with their services, prices and free times, and passes your booking to the salon or clinic you choose.
Phoenix is an intermediary. The salon or clinic provides the service, sets its prices and is responsible for it, and your appointment is an agreement between you and that salon or clinic.
The Phoenix team reviews every salon and clinic before it appears, and clinics show their Ministry of Public Health licence on their page.
3. Your Phoenix account
You sign in with your own Qatar mobile number or your own email address and a one-time code. Keep your phone, your inbox and your codes to yourself — Phoenix will never ask you for a code.
Use your real name, so the salon or clinic knows who to welcome. You can change your details in Settings.
Phoenix may limit or close an account that breaks these terms, for example after repeated missed appointments or misuse. We'll tell you why and how to reach us.
You can also sign in with your Google or Apple account. Those companies' own terms apply to your Google or Apple account; Phoenix only receives what the Privacy policy describes.
4. Booking an appointment
Some salons and clinics confirm a booking at once; others confirm each request themselves. A request that isn't answered in time expires, and we tell you.
Prices are in Qatari riyals and are set by the salon or clinic. The price you see when you confirm, including any offer or promo code, is the price agreed for those services. If you add or change a service at your visit, the salon or clinic tells you the new price.
To keep times fair for everyone, the number of upcoming bookings one account can hold may be limited.
5. Paying
You pay the salon or clinic directly when you visit. Nothing is paid on the Phoenix website or app, and Phoenix never asks for your card details.
Phoenix charges you no booking, change or cancellation fees. Salons and clinics pay Phoenix a fixed monthly fee, which doesn't change your price.
6. Changing and cancelling
Each salon or clinic sets a change deadline, between 2 and 24 hours before the appointment, and your booking shows it. Until then you can change the time in My bookings.
You can cancel free of charge at any time before the appointment starts. A cancellation after the change deadline is recorded as a late cancellation, and a missed appointment as a no-show.
A salon or clinic sees the late cancellations and no-shows at its own venue; the Phoenix team sees them across Phoenix. They are never charged, but after several no-shows your bookings may need the venue's approval first.
A salon or clinic may have to cancel your appointment. We tell you straight away, and you can book another time.
7. Clinics and treatments
Clinic treatments are given by the clinic and its licensed practitioners. Phoenix gives no medical advice: what you read on Phoenix is general information. Talk to the clinic before any treatment — some start with a consultation.
Please don't write medical details in a booking note; tell the clinic in person.
8. Reviews and photos
You can review a visit once it's completed. Keep it honest, respectful and about your own visit.
Add only photos you took or may share, and never a photo of someone without her consent. Your review shows your first name and the first letter of your family name.
Salons and clinics can reply to reviews and report them. The Phoenix team may hide a review that breaks these rules.
When you post a review or photo, you allow Phoenix to show it on Phoenix, including the salon's or clinic's page, for as long as it's published.
9. Points and the Wheel of Fortune
You earn loyalty points on completed visits, as shown in Rewards. Points have no cash value: they can't be exchanged for money, sold or moved to another account.
Some completed visits win you a spin of the Wheel of Fortune. Its prizes are points and, like all points, have no cash value.
Phoenix may change or end the points programme or the wheel, and will tell you in the app first. Points end when an account is deleted.
10. Using Phoenix fairly
- Book only times you mean to keep, and cancel if your plans change.
- Treat salon and clinic teams, and other customers, with respect.
- Don't copy Phoenix's content in bulk, disrupt the service or try to get into accounts that aren't yours.
- Don't use Phoenix for anything unlawful in Qatar.
11. Our responsibility
Phoenix works to keep the service accurate and available, but free times and prices come from the salons and clinics and can change. Phoenix isn't responsible for the service a salon or clinic gives; if something goes wrong, tell the venue, or us through our Contact page, and we'll help.
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under Qatar's consumer protection law.
12. Changes and the law
We may update these terms. The date at the top will change, and we'll tell you in the app before an important change applies.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Qatar, and the courts of Qatar decide any dispute.
